Introduction

This article's aim is to identify additional editorial elements included in the deluxe hardcover edition published by DC Comics in April 2013, collecting the 6 following stories: "Fear and Loathing", "Marshal Law Takes Manhattan", "Kingdom of The Blind", "The Hateful Dead", "Super Babylon" and "Secret Tribunal".

Content:

All the virgin covers previously used for these stories are included. All material is printed on glossy thin paper.

The title pages follow the general presentation of the previous UK Titan paperback ("Fear and Loathing", "Blood, Sweat, and Fears" and "Fear Asylum"). The second and third of cover were previously used by the Graphitti Designs edition.

Listed next are the extra illustrations not referenced in the book. I will only illustrate exclusive material (i.e. 2 illustrations).

In order of reading we have:

 - Front dust jacket flap image comes from the "Kingdom of the Blind" story

Second of cover originates from the first volume of The French edition

 - Authors credits page is illustrated by the back cover of the Graphitti Designs edition

 - Publisher credits page is illustrated by the back cover of the first (also second) volume of the French edition

 - This edition displays an introduction written by Jonathan Ross dated November 2012

 - The map of San Futuro was never published in colored form. A B&W version can be found in the "Origins" book, but legends have been modified and a comment added below the map:

- There is an exclusive title page created by Kevin O'Neill to introduce the "Fear and Loathing" story arc:

- The blue title page introducing "Marshal Law Takes Manhattan" comes from the "Fear Asylum" Titan Books paperback (although the same illustration is already included in the original Epic Comics one shot on a black background and without the comment). The end page of the story (flaming Statue of Liberty) is identical to the back cover of the original one shot.

 - The blue title page introducing "Kingdom of the Blind" also comes from the "Fear Asylum" Titan Books paperback (although the same illustration is already included on the back cover of the original one shot on a white background). The second newspaper style title page is the same as the original one shot.

 - The title page introducing "The Hateful Dead" comes from the "Blood, Sweat, and Fears" Titan Books paperback (although the same illustration is already included in the original one shot whithout the comment).

 - The title page introducing "Super Babylon" also comes from the "Blood, Sweat, and Fears" Titan Books paperback (i.e. whithout the recap and with a new add compared to the original one shot). The three B&W pages ending the story are identical to the original edition.

 - The "Hero Illustrated" illustration has been previously published in the "Blood, Sweat, and Fears" UK Titan books paperback.

 - The title page of "Secret Tribunal" is an excerpt of the main story.

 - Afterword written by Pat Mills (dated December 2012) is illustrated by excerpts from "Fear and Loathing" issue #6 and #4

 - All the illustrations featured in the 'Shooting Galery' have been previously published in previous paperbacks, mostly in the Graphitti Designs edition.

 - On the first page of the 'Shooting Gallery' the bottom image was originally illustrating the Clive Barker introduction to the first US "Fear and Loathing" paperback.

 - Note that the two character designs produced for a proposed feature film adaptation were previously published in "Fear and Loathing" Titan Books paperback.

 - Third of cover originates from the third volume of The French edition

 - End dust jacket flap image comes from the "Kingdom of the Blind" story

One can find some more descriptive pictures here.
